Figures are USD monthly costs. Typefully Creator is annual-only: its $99 annual payment is shown as $8.25/month, with the commitment marked beside the price and total. Other estimates use monthly billing. Taxes, refunds, and processing fees are excluded on both sides. Free plans may cover smaller needs; savings depend on your inputs.

Direct sales cost 10% + $0.50 per transaction, before payment processing. The default $1,000 across 20 sales is $100 + $10 = $110. The slider stops at $20,000; Gumroad lowers its percentage on additional direct sales after that monthly threshold.

Gumroad Discover sales use a different 30% fee and are not modeled. Gumroad also acts as merchant of record and handles indirect tax. Postey’s Stripe-connected storefront is not equivalent to that service.

Creator uses Buffer Essentials: $6/channel for the first ten. Brand and Agency use Buffer Team: $12/channel for the first ten, with unlimited users. The $5 and $10 equivalents require annual billing; this calculator uses monthly billing.

Both plans charge $4 each for channels 11–25 and $3 each for 26–50. Beyond 50, Essentials charges $1 each and Team charges $2 each. These graduated discounts are included.

Channels are distributed across your Postey brand accounts, with one profile per platform per brand. For example, 35 channels means five brands using the seven platforms compared here: Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, and Bluesky. Buffer supports additional platforms that are outside this comparison.

Manychat counts unique active contacts each month, not individual messages. This example assumes one Instagram keyword campaign sending one DM to each person.

• Pro: $39/month includes 2,500 contacts; $0.05 per extra contact.
• Business: $99/month includes 7,500 contacts; $0.025 per extra contact.

We use the cheapest of these paid estimates at your contact count. These are the new pricing plans; availability varies by region and account creation date. Existing accounts may have different rates.

Postey limits DMs per rule and how long a rule remains active. Its selected plan must cover your campaign, within the duration shown beside the price. This does not compare month-long continuous automation, WhatsApp, inbox seats, or Manychat’s other features.

Creator uses Starter: $25/month for up to five brands, or $45 for ten. Brand and Agency use Advanced for team access: $67 for up to 15 brands, or $107 for 25. The shared brand slider sets usage within your Postey package.

This covers base social analytics. X connections and advanced analytics add-ons are excluded. Metricool also includes scheduling and reporting features; it is not automatically added to your total.

Creator costs $99/year for one social set and one user, with AI writing. We show its monthly equivalent of $8.25, not a monthly purchase price. Brand and Agency use Business at $20 per social set on monthly billing, with unlimited users.

The comparison covers AI writing and, on Business, collaboration. Typefully also schedules posts and includes X analytics, which overlap with other selected tools. Platform coverage, AI usage, and publishing limits differ; its whole feature set is not replaced by this estimate.

The price comes from Postey’s current catalog. Starting with your chosen setup, we select a matching paid monthly plan with the required features and campaign capacity. More sales do not increase the subscription; a larger Auto DM campaign may need a higher plan.

Postey currently adds no platform fee to storefront payments. Stripe’s processing, currency conversion, and any other applicable fees still apply. Actual costs depend on your account, country, and payment method.
