Is there an MCP server for X?
Yes. Postey is a remote MCP server at https://mcp.postey.ai/mcp. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client, sign in to Postey in your browser, and connect your X account. Your AI can then draft, publish and schedule X posts.
Can ChatGPT or Claude post to X?
Yes, through an MCP server such as Postey. Neither app posts to X on its own. Once Postey is connected, you ask in plain English and the AI shows you the post before it goes out.
Is the X MCP server free?
Connecting is free, and the free plan includes publishing. Scheduling and comment replies need a paid plan.
Does it scrape X profiles?
No. Postey works with accounts you connect yourself. It publishes and schedules your posts and reads comments on them. It does not collect data about other people’s profiles.
