What does the trial actually do?
A paid plan opens with a trial, and the trial takes a card. Nothing is charged until it ends; at the end the card is charged for the plan you picked and the subscription runs on. Cancel before the last day and nothing is charged at all.
What happens when I change plan?
On a paid subscription the change is prorated. You are credited for the part of the period you have already paid for, and charged the difference for the rest, as one line on the next invoice.
Switching while you are still inside the trial is not prorated, because there is nothing to prorate yet; the trial continues on the new plan.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep the paid features until the end of the billing cycle you have already paid for, and then the account moves to the free plan rather than closing.
Posts you already scheduled still publish. Drafts and published history stay where they are. Nothing is deleted. The unused part of that period is not refunded.
Do I need a card?
Not for the free plan: no card, and no expiry. Yes for a paid plan, because the trial is a subscription that has not been charged yet.
What is a social set?
A social set is one brand. It holds that brand’s profile on every network Postey publishes to, one per network, and adding networks to a set costs nothing.
A second brand or client is what needs a second set. Members are not billed separately, so the price does not move when someone joins.
