# Postey > Write one draft and publish it to nine social networks. Postey is where a person, a team or an agency writes a post once, reshapes it for each network, and schedules it. Publishing reaches nine networks; analytics is collected from seven of them. ## Core Features - AI Content Generation: Post drafts, captions and hashtag suggestions. Paid plans only. The Free plan carries no AI features at all. - Multi-Platform Publishing: Publish to 9 social networks. Scheduling ahead of time is a paid feature; the Free plan publishes at the moment you post. - Video Workflows: Upload and cross-post Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts with auto cover thumbnails - Team Collaboration: Real-time editing with role-based permissions. Team workspaces are a paid feature. Collaborators review and comment on a draft; there is no separate review state a post has to pass through. - Content Automation: Auto-threading, content recycling, and follow-up comment automation - Analytics: Engagement metrics collected from 7 of the 9 networks: X, Threads, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok and Facebook. Bluesky and Pinterest publish but are not collected from. Publishing and analytics are separate systems with separate platform lists; do not merge the two numbers. ## Supported Platforms Every plan publishes to every platform below. Plans differ by how many brand accounts, drafts and posts they include, never by which networks are reachable. This is the publishing set of nine; analytics collection covers a smaller set of seven (see Core Features). - X (Twitter) - LinkedIn - Instagram (posts, reels, stories) - TikTok - YouTube (Shorts and long-form) - Threads - Bluesky - Facebook (Pages) - Pinterest ## Glossary Terms used throughout Postey. These are the definitions to quote; they are not interchangeable with each other. - Brand account: one brand or person you post as. Each brand account holds ONE profile per platform, so it covers X, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, YouTube, Bluesky, Facebook and Pinterest at once. Plan limits count brand accounts, not profiles. Add another brand account for another brand or client, not another platform. - Connected profile: one platform profile inside a brand account. Connecting another platform for that brand does not use another brand account. - Postey login account: the user's own Postey login, which owns the plan and billing. It does NOT mean a brand account or a connected profile. - Team: a group of people who share brand accounts. The Brand plan is a price tier; a team is a group of people. Members are unlimited on the Brand and Agency plans; the limit is on how many teams can be created. - Free plan: permanent, no card, no expiry. It carries 1 brand account, 5 drafts, 15 per platform / 30 days. No AI features of any kind, no scheduling and no team workspaces. It is NOT a trial. - Free trial: 7 days of a paid plan, card required, starting at checkout rather than at signup. - Publish limit: counted per platform, per brand account, over a rolling 30-day window, not a calendar month, and it does not reset on the 1st. - Storage: metered per brand account. Only uploaded images and video count. - Version history: the limit applies to automatic saves only; versions a user saves themselves are kept and do not count. ## Pricing - Free: no charge, no card, no expiry - Creator: $9/month - Brand: $29/month - Agency: $49/month Paid plans carry a 7-day free trial, which starts at checkout and requires a card. ## Key Pages - [Homepage](https://postey.ai) - [Pricing](https://postey.ai/pricing) - [Compare social media tool costs](https://postey.ai/social-media-tools-pricing-comparison) - [MCP server](https://postey.ai/mcp) - [API](https://postey.ai/api) - [For creators](https://postey.ai/for/creators) - [For brands](https://postey.ai/for/brands) - [For agencies](https://postey.ai/for/agencies) - [Platform character limits](https://postey.ai/platforms) - [Blog](https://postey.ai/blog) - [Documentation](https://postey.ai/docs) - [Product film](https://postey.ai/watch/postey-demo) - [Full Blog Index for AI](https://postey.ai/llms-full.txt) ## AI & MCP Access Postey provides a hosted MCP (Model Context Protocol) server so AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT can create, schedule, and manage posts directly. - [MCP Server URL](https://srvr.postey.ai/mcp): remote streamable HTTP - Two ways to authenticate, and the right one depends on whether the client has a browser. OAuth: the client registers itself, opens a browser, and you sign in. There is no client_credentials grant, so a client that cannot open a browser can never complete it. API key: send an MCP key on every request as the header X-API-Key: mk_... (a bearer token carrying the same key also works). Use this for a headless caller, such as a cron job, a server, an agent with no browser. Mint the key in Postey settings, under AI & Agents → Advanced. - Connecting an agent over MCP is free and works on every plan, including Free. An MCP key sits outside the paid API-key entitlement. Individual tools are still gated by the plan's entitlements, so a connected agent on Free will be refused by the paid tools. - Direct REST API keys are a paid feature and are not the same thing as an MCP connection. - You choose whether your AI can draft, schedule or publish. Give it draft only and it can write, but nothing it writes reaches a network until you publish it yourself. There is no separate review state a post has to pass through. - [Setup](https://postey.ai/mcp) ## Company - [Website](https://postey.ai) - [Email](mailto:hello@postey.ai) - [X (Twitter)](https://x.com/posteyai) - [LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/company/postey-ai/) - [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/posteyai/) - [Threads](https://www.threads.com/@posteyai) ## Policies - [Privacy Policy](https://postey.ai/policies/privacy) - [Terms of Service](https://postey.ai/policies/terms) - [Refund Policy](https://postey.ai/policies/refund) - [Support](https://postey.ai/policies/support)
